While others cruelly treated him and put him on the cross, it’s also true that this was Jesus' plan all along.

As he shared a last dinner with his friends the night before, he broke the bread, showing them that this will be like his body. 

And as they shared a drink, he said that it would be like his blood, poured out for them.
