But then, something extraordinary, something wonderful happened as the first light of Sunday morning broke the horizon. 

One of Jesus' followers, Mary, carrying the sweet scent of spices to honor him, made her way to the tomb. 

What she found was a scene of unexpected mystery—the soldiers were gone, the immense stone rolled aside, and the tomb — it was empty! Jesus’ body was gone!
