Then, one word changed everything. "Mary.” That one word, spoken with such familiar love and warmth, pierced through her sorrow. 

She lifted her eyes, and there—can you believe it?—was Jesus. 

Not a memory, not a shadow, but alive, standing right in front of her! 

Her knees shook, her voice wavered, but her heart knew without a doubt. 

After being buried in the tomb for three days, Jesus is now alive! He is risen from the dead — what a miracle!
