How did it all come to this?

Judas has been following Jesus for three years, hoping for a change he could believe in.

He saw Jesus perform miracles, teach about love and kindness, and talk about a kingdom that was different from anything anyone had ever seen.

But as time went on, Judas started to feel disappointed. Maybe he had expected Jesus to overthrow the rulers and become a king in a way everyone would see — using power and might.

Yet, instead of leading armies, Jesus talked about loving their enemies and helping the poor.
